How to get to Minsk

ACCESS BY AIR

National airport “Minsk” is the main air gateway to the Republic of Belarus.

Today regular flights are carried out on more than 40 international air routes to different parts of the world.

The airport is situated 42 km away from the centre of Minsk and 33 km away from the city Ring Road. You can easily and quickly get to Minsk from the airport by:

via ticket sale booths situated at the airport terminal and at the bus stop;
from the ticket agent on the bus stop;
from the bus driver.

The bus-stop at the Airport is situated in front of Gate 5-6 (the ground floor, arrival hall). The journey time is about 1 hour.

SHUTTLE BUSES – No. 1400-TK (route to the “Tsentralnyi” bus terminal) and 1430-TK (route to the “Tsentralnyi” bus terminal through “Mogilevskaya” metro station).

One of the most convenient ways to get to Minsk is by train. At the end of 2000 a new railway station building was opened, conveniently located in the city center. The modern design of the building of glass and steel fit into the style of the old square quite successfully . The building of the Minsk railway station is shaped like a huge ship. There are waiting rooms, ticket halls, cafes, coffee shops, restaurants, shops, post office, telegraph office, VIP-hall, conference room and a children’s amusement park.

ACCESS BY CAR

It’s possible to travel to Belarus by car from Europe and the CIS. Minsk is connected to the European long-distance highway E30. It’s a toll road, with a 1USD charge for passenger vehicles. There are several Belarus border crossings and an extensive road network running across the country. Access from Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Ukraine, Russia.
