Media release of the ISU Junior Grand Prix of Figure Skating - September, 23
Today, on the 23nd of September, there has been the last day of the ISU Junior Grand Prix of Figure Skating «Minsk Arena Cup 2017».
The final day of the competition was full of unforgettable moments. It started with the Pairs Free Skating. Summing up the results of two programs, the first place went to the duet from Russia Daria Pavluchenko / Denis Khodykin (the score was 166.24). One more Russian duet Anastasia Poluianova / Dmitry Sopot were on the second position (the score was 162.14). The third place was given to a pair from Russia as well Apollinariia Panfilova / Dmitry Rylov (150.21 points).
The conclusive program of the competition was the Men Free Skating. As a result, after two programs the participant from Russia Alexey Erokhov overcame his competitors (the score was 232.79). The second place belonged to the USA contestant Andrew Torgashev (212.71 points). One more figure-skater from Russia Igor Efimchuk finished up in the third place (the score was 195.63). Our country was represented by two young athletes: Yakau Zenko was the 12th (the score was 150.37), whilst Mikalai Kazlou became the 20th with 114.52 points.
The most spectacular moment of the Grand Prix were the Victory Ceremonies, where the most outstanding skaters were rewarded and where everyone could feel the spirit of unity. The Exhibition Gala finished the ISU Junior Grand Prix of Figure Skating «Minsk Arena Cup 2017».
